Men’s Lacrosse Receives League-High 23 NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Awards

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. –The MIT men's lacrosse team produced a league-high 23 NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team honors, marking the 12th time in 13 years the Engineers had the top mark in the conference. A total of 115 student-athletes within the NEWMAC qualified for this award.

Women’s Lacrosse Collects Program Record and League-High 20 NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Awards

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – The MIT women's lacrosse team amassed a program record and league-high 20 NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team honors, eclipsing the previous mark of 19 that was established in 2021. A total of 112 student-athletes within the NEWMAC qualified for this award.

Women's Openweight Crew Leads Patriot League with Three Academic All-League Selections

MIT women's openweight crew juniors Elizabeth Jackson, Madeleine Laws, and Michelle Peng have been named to the 2026 Academic All-Patriot League Team. Jackson and Peng each repeated as honorees while Laws earned the first Patriot League honor of her career.

Garrett Campagna Selected as USILA All-America Honorable Mention

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – MIT's Garrett Campagna received All-America Honorable Mention accolades from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA). A midfielder, this is his first award from the organization and the seventh for the men's lacrosse program.

Softball Earns Four All-Region Honors

The MIT softball team placed four student-athletes on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region Team. The Engineers had two First Team All-Region athletes in first-years Lauren Sundquist and Holland Poe while sophomore Delaney Benevides and senior Olivia Scarpaci were named to the third team.

The varsity four claimed the silver medal to lead the No. 4 men's lightweight crew team on Sunday at Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond. The varsity eight finished sixth in the grand final, matching the team's finish from last season.
