Ephs begin 2026 season at Ithaca

ITHACA, N.Y. - This weekend, the Williams College men's crew team opened its spring season in a big way at Ithaca College's Cayuga Inlet Invite. Conditions were solid throughout the day, with a slight headwind in the morning and a slight tailwind in the afternoon. Over nine races, the Ephs lined up against crews from Marietta, Ithaca, RIT and University of Rochester, seeing success from all boats.

Ephs win all three races at Skidmore Sprints

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The Williams College women's crew team swept the competition at the first regatta of the season, securing first-place finishes in all three of their races against Wellesley, Skidmore, Franklin & Marshall and Bryn Mawr at the Skidmore Sprints on Saturday, April 4. For the first time in the past three years at the race, Saratoga was sunny and water conditions were decent, with a strong tailwind and surrounding fishing boats that produced challenging wakes for crews to maneuver.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - After a standout winter season for Williams College athletic teams, the Ephs have moved up to 2nd place in the 2025-26 Learfield Directors' Cup standings, published on Thursday by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA). Williams has a total of 811 points in the overall Division III standings, just 1.25 points behind NYU in first place.

The Ephs got five goals from Jack Sartorius, four from Will Doran alongside a pair of assists, two from Ryan Johnson and a single goal from Kai Switlick, the first of his career.
