CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago women's outdoor track and field team earned three selections to the 2026 Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, as released by the National Collegiate Athletic Association on Friday evening.

Emma Kelly will lead the Maroons into the National Championships in her first-ever appearance in the Outdoor National Championships. The Maple Grove, Minnesota native is a 2-time 1st-Team All-American in the Distance Medley Reay, but this will be her first appearance in an individual event at the National Championships. Kelly earned the #8 overall seed in the 1500m Run with a time of 4:26.05, and she extended the streak of six consecutive years that the Maroons have had a national qualifier in the Outdoor 1500m Run.

Katja Dunayevich will make her second career appearance in the National Championship meet after the freshman earned a pair of All-America selections in the indoor championships. The San Diego, California native earned the #11 overall seed in the 10000m Run with a time of 35:13.92.

Estelle Snider will also make her third consecutive appearance in the Outdoor 10000m National Championships after the Sparks Glencoe, Maryland native earned the #12 overall seed in the 10000m Run with a time of 35:18.15.

The duo of Dunayevich and Snider extends the UChicago streak to five consecutive years that the Maroons have had a national qualifier in the Outdoor 10000m Run. Both athletes will look to become the sixth and seventh All-Americans in the 10000m Run for the Maroons this weekend.

The trio of Maroons will head to La Crosse, Wisconsin to represent the University of Chicago at the Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, beginning on Thursday, May 21.
