Aryan Shrivastava Earns UAA Men's Track Athlete of the Week Honors
CHICAGO -- University of Chicago senior Aryan Shrivastava has been named the UAA Men's Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the University Athletic Association office on Monday afternoon.

Aryan Shrivastava has been named the UAA Men's Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the University Athletic Association office on Monday afternoon.
Shrivastava led the Maroons in the final last chance meet as he broke the UChicago school record with a high jump mark of 2.08 meters. The jump for the Irvine, California native not only broke the school record, but it also clinched his spot in the national championship meet, entering the weekend with the #10 mark in NCAA Division III.
The Athlete of the Week award for Shrivastava is the fourth of his career and the third of his senior season with the University of Chicago. Shrivastava joins
Sanju Patel and
Paul Sackman as the three Maroons to earn Athlete of the Week honors for men's track and field during the outdoor season.
Shrivastava and three other members of the men's track and field team will represent the Maroons at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, beginning this weekend from May 21-23 at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
