Women’s Lacrosse Earns Three on IWLCA All-Region Teams

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Army West Point women's lacrosse seniors Sarah Chernik, Brigid Duffy and Allison Reilly were named to IWLCA All-Northeast Region Teams as announced by the IWLCA on Thursday afternoon. Duffy and Reilly were named to the first team, while Chernik was named to the second team. The IWLCA has honored 128 student-athletes in Division I with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2026. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 2026 All-American teams on May 21.

Women’s Lacrosse Earns Three on IWLCA All-Region Teams

Allison Reillywere named to IWLCA All-Northeast Region Teams as announced by the IWLCA on Thursday afternoon. Duffy and Reilly were named to the first team, while Chernik was named to the second team. The IWLCA has honored 128 student-athletes in Division I with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2026. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 2026 All-American teams on May 21.

Duffy finished the 2026 season with 77 goals; 31 assists and 108 points and lead the Black Knights in goals and ranks second the Patriot League. The midfielder recently broke the Patriot League All-Time Goal Record. She also ranks first in the conference in caused turnovers with 46 and ranks first in goals per game at 3.89. Nationally, she is the third highest active goal scorer in Division I lacrosse and one of three active players with 350+ points. The Queensbury, N.Y. native, ranks sixth in goals per game and fourth in shots per game. In total goals,

Brigid Duffyranks fourth in country and sixth in total points. Duffy was also recently named a Tewaaraton Top Five finalist and a USA Lacrosse First Team All-American.

Reilly finished with a team high and Patriot League high 116 points this season, which ranks second in the country. The senior attacker has earned career highs in assists, points, groundballs, caused turnovers and draw controls. Additionally, she currently leads the NCAA in assists while ranking second in assists per game. For the Sayville, N.Y. native, she earned USA Lacrosse First Team All-American recognition. She finished her career with 374 points which is a new program all-time program points record and broke the Patriot League single season points record.

Chernik appeared in all 20 games for the Black Knights, posting career highs in caused turnovers and draw controls. Chernik is currently fourth in the Patriot League in draw controls with 110. For the Milton, Ga., native she was named a USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American and a first team All-Patriot League selection.
