Duffy Named Class of 2026 Honda Award for Lacrosse Finalist
WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point women's lacrosse senior Brigid Duffy has been named a finalist for the Honda Award for Lacrosse as announced by by Chris Voelz, Executive Director of The Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA) on Monday afternoon. Duffy is just the third Black Knight to be named a finalist in their respective sport and the third overall Patriot League student athlete and women's lacrosse player from the conference to earn the honor. Additionally, Duffy is the first service academy athlete to be named a finalist since 2020-21, when Mahala Norris of the United States Air Force academy was named a Honda Award finalist in Cross Country and the first women's lacrosse athlete from West Point to earn the prestigious honor.
