Cassidy earned his second straight SCIAC Championship in the hammer throw, and currently has the top throw in all of Division III this year at 213'3" at the Redlands Invitational, which ranks No. 9 in Division III history. He finished second at the NCAA Championships last year with a throw of 210 feet even, which set a program record at the time.

Paavola won the SCIAC title in the discus in his rookie season, with a PR of 154'4", winning by a distance of six and a half feet. He was the only first-year athlete to win a conference championship on the men's side.

The CMS coaching staff guided the Stags to their sixth straight conference championship this year, sweeping both the men's and women's titles. Stewart has now been at the helm for nine conference titles for the Stags and nine for the Athenas in his 10 years at the helm (not counting the two championships missed due to the COVID-19 pandemic).

Several student-athletes will compete this weekend at the APU Franson Last Chance Meet in hopes of qualifying for the NCAA Division III Championships later this month in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
