Lehigh University's wrestling program concluded its season with a commendable performance at the NCAA Championships in Cleveland. Sophomore Luke Stanich emerged as a standout, finishing third in the 141-pound category. Stanich's journey included a victory over Air Force's Carter Nogle in the consolation semifinals and a decisive win against Hardy, a returning finalist, to secure his All-America status for the second time. Despite falling short in the national semifinals against top-seeded Jesse Mendez, Stanich's efforts contributed to Lehigh's 16th-place finish overall. The Mountain Hawks had six NCAA qualifiers, all of whom secured at least one win.
In women's lacrosse, the Mountain Hawks faced a challenging match against American University, resulting in a 19-15 loss. Despite a strong start and a competitive first half, Lehigh was unable to maintain its lead in the final quarter. Key performances came from Shoup, Wines, and Snow, each netting a hat trick, but American's offensive surge in the closing minutes sealed the outcome.
Lehigh's track and field teams kicked off their outdoor season at the Keystone State Challenge in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. The men's team dominated the 5000-meter race, with first-year Sawyer Macy leading a clean sweep of the top seven positions. On the women's side, the Mountain Hawks captured victories in nine events, showcasing depth and talent across middle-distance and field events. Both teams look forward to their next competition at the Monmouth Season Opener on March 27-28.
The women's basketball team concluded its season with a 72-62 defeat against Monmouth in the first round of the WNIT. Despite a valiant effort and a 17-15 overall record, the Mountain Hawks were unable to overcome Monmouth's strong shooting performance. Meanwhile, the men's basketball team saw its NCAA Tournament journey end with a 67-55 loss to Prairie View A&M in the First Four matchup, capping off a season highlighted by a Patriot League championship.
