Tufts University’s softball team celebrates a significant milestone as junior catcher Heaven Oliva and first-year shortstop Paige Murphy are named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III All-America Teams. Oliva earns first-team honors, becoming the first Jumbo to achieve this distinction since 2023, while Murphy is recognized on the second team, marking her as the first freshman All-American for the program in three years. Oliva's impressive season included a .403 batting average, 12 home runs, and 46 runs batted in, while Murphy's contributions as a rookie have set a promising foundation for the future. Additionally, three seniors—Lauryn Horita, Haley Leimbach, and Kaitlyn Perucci—were named to the 2026 Academic All-District® Softball Team, highlighting their academic prowess alongside their athletic achievements.
In track and field, twelve members of the Tufts teams received All-American honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). On the men's side, senior Quinn Hampson earned first-team recognition, while four other Jumbos—Cullen McCaleb, Cam McLeod, Harris Gulbransen, and Josh Wilkie—were named second-team All-Americans. The women's team saw seven athletes recognized, including sophomores Elysse Cumberland and Arielle Gibbons, who have made significant contributions to the program this season.
The baseball team also had a strong showing in postseason honors, with five players earning All-Region selections from D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA). Notably, Cole Donato was named the ABCA Region 1 Pitcher of the Year, and Jack Kamin received first-team honors for both All-Region squads, boasting a .442 batting average and leading the team with 45 RBIs. This recognition reflects the Jumbos' competitive season and individual excellence on the diamond.
