Twelve Track & Field Team Members Honored as All-Americans by USTFCCCA

MEDFORD, MA (May 27, 2026) – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) officially announced its 2026 Division III Outdoor Track & Field All-Americans on Tuesday, and 12 members of the Tufts teams were recognized.

On the men's side, five Jumbos finished as All-Americans. Senior

Quinn Hampson was a first-team All-American (first through eighth finishers), while senior

Cullen McCaleb, senior

Cam McLeod, junior

Harris Gulbransen and senior

Josh Wilkie earned second-team awards (ninth through 16th finishers).

For the women's squad, seven Jumbos earned the national recognition. Sophomores

Elysse Cumberland and

Arielle Chechile achieved first-team and second-team All-American honors. Junior

Emma Gall, sophomore

Makayla Moriarty, sophomore

Cameron Stanton, junior

Jackie Wells and sophomore

Lauren Zipoli are on the second team.

Cumberland was All-American in three events. She started the meet with a runner-up finish in the long jump and was also fourth in the triple jump and 11th as the anchor of the 4x100-meter relay. She is now an eight-time All-American (six first-team awards) after two seasons with the Jumbos.

Chechile was an All-American in two events this season. She placed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles for the first All-American first team honor of her career. She was also part of the 11th-place 4x1 to gain second-team All-American honors. She has six total All-American awards for her career.

Hampson had the top Tufts men's performance at the NCAA meet. He was fifth in the 1500 meters final to earn the second All-American award of his career overall and first on the first team.

Wilkie's ninth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles earned the second-team All-American award. He had been injured the day before the 400 hurdles final and courageously finished the race to achieve the third All-American honor of his career.

Gall collected her first-ever All-American award by tying for 11th place in the pole vault event on the first day of the meet.

Stanton was also a first-time All-American after leading off for the 11th-place 4x1 relay. She stepped in as an alternate to reach this career highlight.

Moriarty ran the second leg of the 4x1 to pick up the third All-American accolade of her career.

Gulbransen's 14th-place finish in the men's 10,000 meters on the first night of the NCAA meet gave him All-American status. It's his third career national award, including in cross country last fall and indoors in March.

McLeod earned All-American status for the second time in his career. He ran to a 14th-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles preliminaries.

Wells is a women's javelin throw All-American for the second straight year following her 15th-place finish in the event this season.

McCaleb placed 15th in the 1500 preliminaries to get his second team All-American accolade. A cross country All-American in the fall, he earned his second track & field national recognition.

Zipoli was another first-time All-American by taking the 16th and last All-American spot in the heptathlon.
