Dartmouth College's softball program celebrates the academic achievements of three student-athletes who have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team. Lauren Ben-Ezra, Ashley Frantz, and Anna Marie Fagan have all received this honor for the first time in their careers. Ben-Ezra, a senior, started in 30 games this season and posted a career-high .323 batting average, while Frantz and Fagan contributed significantly to the team's performance. Meanwhile, the Dartmouth track and field teams are gearing up for the NCAA First Round Regional competition in Lexington, Kentucky, following a successful showing at the Ivy League Championships. Andie Murray, who won an Ivy League title in the 800 meters, leads a group of five athletes, including Mariella Schweitzer, Max Klein, J'Voughnn Blake, and Noe Chavarria, who will represent the Big Green in hopes of advancing further in the postseason.
In swimming, four Dartmouth athletes competed at the TYR Pro Series in Sacramento, California. Jacob Turner, William McClelland, David Kushnirsky, and Nil Helvacioglu faced off against elite competitors, including professional athletes and Olympians. Head Coach Milana Socha noted that this event serves as a valuable opportunity for the athletes to kick off the long course meters season and assess their training progress as they transition from the spring term.
