Dartmouth's rowing teams delivered strong performances at the 2026 Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) National Championship, which concluded on May 31. The lightweight rowing team captured a podium finish, showcasing their prowess in a series of competitive races, including a notable performance in the Varsity 4 Final 2. Meanwhile, the heavyweight rowing team also excelled, finishing sixth overall with a total of 206 points, marking their best result at the IRA since 2022. Both teams demonstrated depth and skill across multiple races throughout the championship, with the heavyweight squad competing in four races on the second day of the event.
In track and field, Andie Murray concluded her outdoor season at the NCAA East First Round in Lexington, Kentucky. She advanced to the quarterfinals of the women's 800 meters with a top 12 finish, solidifying her status as a competitive athlete on the national stage. Teammates Max Klein and J'Voughnn Blake also participated in the regional, with Klein achieving a personal best in the shot put and Blake competing in the 800 meters, although neither advanced further.
In volleyball, the program welcomed Brianna Ford to its coaching staff, as head coach Kevin Maureen Campbell continues to build a strong team for the upcoming season. The addition of Ford is expected to bolster the coaching experience and enhance player development.
Dartmouth's men's hockey program also made strides this week, announcing the hiring of Macy Curtis as an assistant coach. This move is part of an effort to strengthen the coaching staff and improve the team's competitive edge moving forward.
Finally, the women's basketball program announced the addition of Sean Ehlbeck as an assistant coach. Ehlbeck's experience is anticipated to contribute positively to the team's development as they prepare for the next season.
