The New York University men's track and field team concluded its participation at the NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships with a notable achievement, finishing in 10th place, the program's highest ranking since 2005. Competing at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from May 21 to 23, the team showcased strong individual performances, including several All-American honors. Meanwhile, the women's track and field team secured 23rd place, highlighted by two All-American performances on the first day of competition. Both teams capped off their seasons with significant contributions from athletes like Katharine Frank and Katherine Cochran, who excelled in their respective events.
In women's golf, the NYU team, ranked No. 2 nationally, finished third at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship held at Desert Willow Golf Resort. The Violets maintained a competitive edge throughout the tournament, concluding their season with a strong showing that solidified their status among the top programs in the country. The team’s performance included consistent rounds that kept them in contention for the title.
In women's tennis, Victoria Wang represented NYU at the NCAA Division III Singles Championship in Chattanooga, Tennessee, but was eliminated in the first round on May 22. Despite the early exit, her participation marked an important step in her development as a player at the national level. The tournament ran from May 22 to May 25, providing a valuable experience for Wang as she continues her collegiate career.
