The Yale coed sailing team achieved a significant milestone this week, finishing third overall at the Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) Open Fleet Race National Championship in St. Petersburg, Florida. Competing against the nation’s top programs, the Bulldogs amassed 211 points after four days of racing, advancing through semifinal competition before delivering a strong performance in the championship finals.
In women's lacrosse, senior defender Emmy Pascal received recognition for her outstanding season, being named a second team All-America by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA). This accolade highlights Pascal's contributions to the No. 18 Bulldogs, who have made significant strides in the competitive landscape of women's lacrosse.
The men's soccer program is set for a new chapter as head coach Kylie Stannard announced the addition of two new staff members for the 2026 season. Sean Kelly will join as an assistant coach, while Ryan Kipness takes on the role of Director of Soccer Operations, aiming to enhance the team's performance and recruitment efforts.
In field hockey, Hannah Tepper has been appointed as an assistant coach, joining head coach Melissa Gonzalez's staff. Tepper brings valuable experience from her time at Trinity College and as a player at Assumption, where she participated in three NCAA Tournament appearances.
The Yale men's and women's track and field teams are gearing up for the NCAA East First Round meet, with five women and three men qualifying for the event set to take place in Kentucky. The women's squad will feature Acevedo, Benun, Guerrier, Kosmont, and Martonfi, while the men's team will include Karas, Lebowitz, and Recker. Their performances will be crucial in determining selections for the NCAA Championships later in June.
