Ephs open play at Women’s Golf NCAA Championship
PALM DESERT, Calif. - The Williams College women's golf team played the opening round of the NCAA Division III National Championship on Tuesday, playing the Mountain View course at the Desert Willow Golf Resort in California.

The Ephs had a +18 team score on Tuesday, putting the team in a tie for 12th place in the 34-team field, 15 strokes behind the leaders Carnegie Mellon University. Williams will play the Firecliff course on Wednesday, and after all teams complete their second round, the top 15 teams will advance to the third and fourth rounds on Thursday and Friday.
Williams has a lineup of
Euna Lee, and
Zoe Wynn for the week, with the top four scores on each day counting for the team score. Ding was the top performer on Tuesday with a 3-over-par 75.
Wednesday's round will start at 7:50am local time for the Ephs, 10:50am ET.
