No. 5 Bulldogs Advance All Crews to Grand Finals at Ivy League Championship

**PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – **The No. 5 Yale women's crew team kicked off its weekend at the Ivy League Championship strong, taking care of business on day one on Cooper River, with all crews winning their respective heats to secure spots in Sunday's grand finals.

Heat Results

• Yale's third varsity eight got the afternoon started with a victory, posting a time of 6:36.168. Brown finished second (6:39.924), Princeton third (6:40.213), and Columbia fourth (6:50.362).

• The Bulldogs' first varsity eight won its heat with a time of 6:02.654. Columbia placed second (6:08.985), Dartmouth third (6:14.041), and Cornell fourth (6:32.459).

• Yale's second varsity eight continued the momentum, crossing the line in 6:09.329. Brown was second (6:10.224), Columbia third (6:20.529), and Penn fourth (6:23.835).

• The Bulldogs' varsity four wrapped up the successful day with a win, posting a time of 7:00.467. Penn finished second (7:02.762), Brown third (7:09.149), and Cornell fourth (7:47.693).

The winner of the varsity eight grand final on Sunday will be crowned the Ivy League Champion and awarded the Sally P. Shoemaker Trophy. The Team Trophy will be presented to the team with the highest point total across all boats. The League's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Championship will be awarded to the team with the most points across the three NCAA boats (V8, 2V8, and V4).
