Deegan and Tarzy were among the 150 student-athletes, representing 81 institutions nationwide to be named to one of the six all-region teams.

Improving throughout the weekend, the Navy heavyweight rowing program concluded its three days of action at the 2026 IRA National Championship on Sunday with its top three varsity eight crews all competing in C Finals. Racing for positions 13 through 18 nationally, the Mids' first and third boats finished runner-up in their respective competitions to place 14th overall, while its second varsity came in 17th. As a team, Navy ranked 14th in the Ten Eyck Team Points standings.

The Navy lightweight rowing team concluded its racing at the 2026 IRA National Championship on Sunday with its top two crews taking one final trip down the 2,000-meter course on Lake Natoma. The Mids' second varsity eight boat highlighted the day of action as it challenged the nation's best in the classification's grand final.
