The varsity eight placed fifth nationally, while the second varsity eight finished sixth, with both crews competing in their respective grand finals. The varsity four earned an eighth-place national finish after placing second in the petite final.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – First-year Phoebe Benun and sophomore Zoe Martonfi of the Yale women's track and field team competed in the 3000m steeplechase at the NCAA East First Round meet Saturday at Kentucky. Martonfi finished 34th (10:25.88) and Benun finished 40th (10:36.02). The top 12 advanced to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore., in June.
