Skyler Mott (Mills Neck, N.Y.) because just the fourth athlete in program history to earn All-America recognition with a 12th-place finish in the men's high jump at the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships Friday afternoon at the Veteran's Memorial Field Sports Complex.

Making his first NCAA Championships appearance, Mott cleared six-feet, 9-inches (2.06 meters) on his third attempt to finish 12th in a field of 22 jumpers. He also cleared 6-feet-6 and 6-feet-8 on his first attempt at each height. He was second among competitors from the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) behind MIT junior Anthony Meng (Scottsdale, Ariz.), who cleared 6-feet, 9-inches on his second attempt to place ninth.

Rowan first-year David Brown captured the individual title with a leap of 7-feet, 0.5-inch, while Southwestern (Tex.) junior Lukas Nowlin finished second and Rowan sophomore Noah Wampole was third after clearing 6-feet, 11.5-inches.

Mott has registered the top seven performances in the high jump in program history, all 6-feet, 7-inches or higher and including his program-record leap of 6-feet. 9.75-inches set back in March.

Mott becomes the fourth Babson athlete to earn All-America honors in men's track and field, and the second in field events. He follows John Decker '18, who was fourth in the 800 meters in 2017;

Anthony Rodriguez '24, who finished 12th in the 10,000 meters in 2024; and Eric Bottern '24, who placed eighth in the shot put in 2024.
