Mantas Kempinas '28 (New York, N.Y./Stuyvesant HS) was selected for the 2026 D3baseball.com All-Region Team on Tuesday, May 26.
Kempinas was voted to the third team in Region 1 and was all-region for the first time. He was one of three relief pitchers on the all-region team in Region 1.
Kempinas appeared in 14 of the Continentals' 33 games and posted a 1.11 earned run average with a 0.95 WHIP in 24.1 innings. He went 1-1 with one save and opponents hit just .195 against him. Kempinas struck out 22 batters, allowed 17 hits and just three earned runs, and walked six.
Kempinas gave up earned runs in his first and last outings, but pitched 20.2 consecutive scoreless innings from early March to late April. The only teams he allowed runs against were nationally ranked No. 8 Johns Hopkins University and No. 14 Tufts University.
