Herman '26, Kempinas '28 are all-NESCAC baseball team selections

Hamilton College's

Lucas Herman '26 (Malibu, Calif./Viewpoint School) and

Mantas Kempinas '28 (New York, N.Y./Stuyvesant HS) were selected for the 2026 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Baseball All-Conference Team on Thursday, May 14 when the organization announced its end-of-season awards.

Herman was voted to the first team and Kempinas was placed on the second team by the conference's head coaches. Both Continentals are on the all-NESCAC team for the first time.

Herman was one of eight outfielders on the all-conference team. He finished 14

th in the NESCAC with a .460 on-base percentage in 12 West Division games. Herman was 19

th with a .948 OPS, tied for 15

th with 11 runs scored and tied for 16

th with seven walks. He hit .341 (14-for-41) with three doubles, a home run, six runs batted in and a .488 slugging percentage.

Kempinas was one of 11 pitchers on the all-conference team. He made five relief appearances out of the 12 West Division games and didn't allow a run in 6.1 innings pitched. Kempinas had a 1-0 record with a save and five strikeouts, and opponents hit just .190 against him. He allowed four hits and three walks for a 1.15 WHIP.

Hamilton finished the season with a 15-18 overall record including 6-6 in the NESCAC West Division. The Continentals tied for third place in their division and were the fourth seed from the West for the conference championship. Hamilton played in the NESCAC quarterfinal series for the fourth time in the last five years.
