USILA All-American List Includes Five Cardinals

The Wesleyan men's lacrosse team saw five players earn All-American honors, as announced by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) on Wednesday afternoon. Charlie Wilmot '26 while

Will Miller '26 made the Third Team and three other Cardinals earned an Honorable Mention distinction.

The Cardinals finished 14-5 this season and advanced to the NCAA Semifinal round for the seventh time in program history and first since 2018. Wesleyan ranked fourth in the NESCAC in goals per game (13.1) third in goals against average (10.3), second in caused turnovers per game (11.3) and third in fewest turnovers per game (16.6).

USILA First Team All-American

Charlie Wilmot (Senior, SSDM)

2026 Stats: 44 ground balls, three goals, seven assists, six caused turnovers

One of just two short stick defensive midfielders named to the USILA First Team All-American list, Wilmot earns a spot for the first time in his career. He anchored Wesleyan's rope unit and transition game with consistency, toughness, and leadership while he never missed a game over his four-year career, appearing in all 72 possible contests.

Will Miller (Senior, Midfield)

2026 Stats: 38 goals, 12 assists, 50 points

Another high-scoring season for the senior midfielder gives him back-to-back 50-point seasons to finish his career. Miller tied for the team-lead in goals while he is one of three Cardinals to total 50 points on the year. He graduates with his first career All-American honor while ranking inside the Top 20 all-time at Wesleyan in career points (141).

USILA Honorable Mention All-American

Ben Burns (Senior, Attack)

2026 Stats: 38 goals, four assists, 42 points

One of the most-prolific goal scorers in program history, Burns earns his third consecutive Honorable Mention nod after tying Miller for the team-lead in goals. Despite dealing with multiple injuries throughout the year, Burns still produced at an elite clip and graduates with the fourth-most goals in team history (153).

USILA Honorable Mention All-American

James Bailey (Senior, Midfield)

2026 Stats: 19 goals, 22 assists, 41 points

A steady playmaker at the midfield spot, Bailey posted his third straight 40+ point season while leading the Cardinals in assists with 22 on the year. Bailey makes the Honorable Mention list for the second time while he finishes his career with 149 points, ranking 17

th all-time at Wesleyan.

USILA Honorable Mention All-American

Joe Hurton (Junior, LSM)

2026 Stats: 47 ground balls, 33 caused turnovers

An imposing force at the long stick midfield position, Hurton posted 47 ground balls and a career-high 33 caused turnovers while appearing in all 19 games. Hurton led the team in caused turnovers for the second time in three seasons while he's an Honorable Mention pick for the first time in his career.
