Jumbos Lead NESCAC With 231 Spring All-Academic Team Honorees

MEDFORD, MA (May 20, 2026) - The 2026 spring sports teams at Tufts University placed 231 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Academic Team released today. That's the most out of the 11 schools in the conference, 22 ahead of Williams College (209).

A conference record 1,800-plus student-athletes have been named to the 2026 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team. To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic status, and be in good standing in their sport with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 or equivalent on a 4.0 scale. Transfers must have completed one year of study at an institution. Lists of All-Academic honorees were provided by the athletic departments at each institution. The cumulative GPA on record from the previous semester was used to determine eligibility.

Representatives from Tufts' baseball, golf, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, men's rowing, women's rowing, sailing, softball, men's tennis, women's tennis, men's outdoor track & field and women's outdoor track & field teams are among the 231 Jumbo honorees.

Cam McLeod was a recipient of all three of NESCAC's honors - All-Conference, All-Sportsmanship and All-Academic - this spring.
