Murphy Named Outdoor Field Performer of the Week
Fresh off her third-place finish in the long jump at the NCAA Division III Championships, University of Rochester first-year Lauren Murphy was selected as the Liberty League Women's Field Performer of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.

Lauren Murphy was selected as the Liberty League Women's Field Performer of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Murphy had a terrific effort in the triple jump during the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships, placing third overall with a best mark of 12.48 meters. The UR first-year broke the school record a total of three times at the national meet, jumping 12.21m in round two, 12.26m in round three, and then popping off a 12.48-meter jump in the sixth and final round of the competition, moving up to third place overall.
