Baseball’s Chi Earns ABCA/Rawlings and D3baseball.com All-Region Honors

CAMBRIDE, Mass. – MIT baseball first year Dalton Chi has earned a pair of All-Region honors following his rookie season. Chi has been named to 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-Region I Second Team as well as the 2026 D3baseball.com All-Region Region 1 First Team.

ABCA/Rawlings selections were voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and coordinated by the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee. D3baseball.com selections were nominated by the Athletics Communications Directors at each school.

• ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III Region I All-Region Second Team – SS

• D3baseball.com All-Region First Team - SS

• NEWMAC First Team All-Conference – INF

• Ranked top ten in the NEWMAC in on-base percentage (.474), home runs (7) and stolen bases (23).

• MIT team leader in OPS (1.072), hits (47), runs scored (41), home runs (7) and total bases (77).

• NEWMAC Athlete of the Week for the week of March 29 after registering nine hits in 15 at-bats while scoring nine runs and collecting six RBIs in a pair of NEWMAC wins.
