No. 9 Women's Crew Locks In for Ivy Championships

**PROVIDENCE, R.I. -**After a strong regular season which saw the Bears go 3-1 in Ivy League competition and win the program's twelfth Varsity Eight championship and fifteenth team championship at the Women's Sprints, No. 9 women's crew prepares for the conference championship this weekend in Pennsauken, New Jersey.

Races will take place on both Saturday and Sunday, with the Bears looking to win their first Varsity Eight Ivy championship since 2015 and first team conference title since 2017. All of the action this weekend will be airing on ESPN+, which can be found with the links below.

Last year's Ivy Championships saw the Bears V8, 2V8, B4, and C4 all earn third place finishes, while the 3V8 and A4 finished as runners-up in their races.

The Varsity Eight has earned seven first place finishes and haven't placed below second in any race this year. The Second Varsity hasn't lost a race since the spring opener at No. 6 Princeton on March 28, rattling off eight consecutive victories.

Both of Brown's top boats have benefited from consistent leadership in the coxswain seat, with

Summer Balla-Kellettleading the way for the V8 and

Caitlyn Roddyguiding the 2V8 throughout the entire season.
