Sailing Finishes Fourth in Eastern Division, Advances to Championship Round of ICSA Women’s Fleet Race National Championship

**TAMPA, Fla. –**The Intercollegiate Sailing Association's Women's Fleet Race National Championship continued, Saturday, as the Big Green sailed in eight total races and jumped one spot on the standings. Dartmouth finished fourth overall with 121 total points, securing its spot in championship sailing beginning Sunday.

Across both semifinal racing days, the Big Green's A Division scored 80 total points while their B Division posted 41, the second-best score of the field.

Saturday's racing started with a top ten A Division finish and a B Division win, Dartmouth's first overall win of the regatta.

The Big Green's A Division added two more top ten finishes across their next three races, wrapping the day with back-to-back fifth place finishes.

The B Division followed their win with a second-place finishing position in their eighth race. They finished just outside the top ten in their ninth race before bouncing back with an eighth-place finish to conclude the day and send the Big Green to Championship sailing.

Stanford (81), Harvard (98), and College of Charleston (117) led the way earning the podium finishes. Dartmouth comes in fourth overall with 121 total points, just four points off the podium. It is followed by Roger Williams (137), Tufts (138), Boston College (157), Jacksonville (173), and URI (205) that round out the top nine advancing from the Eastern Division.

The Big Green will meet Bowdoin, Yale, Cornell, Brown, Coast Guard, Georgetown, George Washington, MIT, and Tulane from the Western Division in the next round of sailing beginning on Sunday, May 17.
