Mariella Schweitzer Sets Program Record On Heps Opening Day

**PRINCETON, N.J. –**The Dartmouth men's and women's track and field teams opened the Ivy League Outdoor Championships with several top performances, having numerous student-athletes qualify for tomorrow's finals.

Jack Tanhad the highest podium finish of the day, clinching third place in the pole vault with a 4.98m jump.

Colton McMasterplaced fifth in the hammer throw (61.10) and fifth in the discus throw (52.69).

Mariella Schweitzerbroke a program record in the long jump with a 6.28 mark, finishing fourth overall. Schweitzer also qualified for tomorrow's 100m hurdles with a 13.78 finish.

Winston Morganqualified for the 400m final with a 46.75 finish. On the women's side,

Jada Jones(54.33) and Veronika Simova (54.87) qualified for the 400m final as well.

J'Voughnn Blakeplaced first in the 800m semi, clinching a spot in tomorrow's final with a 1:48.96.

Andie Murrayfinished first in the 800m as well, securing a spot in the final with a 2:05.42 mark.

Rebeka Zibritova finished third in the 400m hurdles and clinched a spot in the final with a 59.66 mark. Jones, who was the 2025 outdoor and indoor Ivy League Champion in the 200m, will defend her outdoor title tomorrow after clinching a spot in the final with a 23.73.

Jack Ingliscurrently sits third in the decathlon with 3536 points.

The Ivy League Championships conclude tomorrow, with events beginning at 9 a.m.
