Ivy League Announces Track and Field All-League Teams

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Ivy League has officially unveiled its All-Ivy League teams for outdoor track and field. The teams are determined by an athlete's placement in each event at this past weekend's Ivy League Outdoor Heps, which were hosted by Princeton. Athletes who finish in first place and win league titles receive First Team honors, with the runners-up in each event earning Second Team accolades.

**PROVIDENCE, R.I. –**The Ivy League has officially unveiled its All-Ivy League teams for outdoor track and field. The teams are determined by an athlete's placement in each event at this past weekend's Ivy League Outdoor Heps, which were hosted by Princeton. Athletes who finish in first place and win league titles receive First Team honors, with the runners-up in each event earning Second Team accolades.

Both the Brown men and women took fifth place at the championships.

__MEN__Junior thrower

Eddie Webbearned First Team honors after winning the individual title in the javelin. Senior

Frank Monahan-Morangfinished runner-up in the long jump to earn Second team honors, as did the four members of the 4x800m relay team in

Duncan Frisbie-Smith,

Jake Haley,

Cameron Walterand

Aaron Caveney.

For his work in the classroom, Webb also is the team's Academic All-Ivy honoree.

__WOMEN__Two women combined for three All-Ivy honors for the Bears, with junior

Elle Rileyearning First Team honors by winning the 400m hurdles and earned Second Team laurels for her runner-up finish in the 100m hurdles. Her times in both events also broke her own school records in both races. Senior

Nimrit Ahujawas also named to the Second Team in the 3,000m steeplechase.

Senior

Nene Mokonchu, who finished fourth in the high jump, was selected as the Academic All-Ivy honoree.
