Curcio Named to Academic All-League Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – For the first time in her rowing career, Stella Curcio was one of 11 student-athletes selected to the Academic All-Patriot League Team across the conference.

Curcio has shown immense success in her rigorous STEM coursework for her Chemistry major and has helped lead the Varsity 8 to success in every race since starting her career at Colgate. She leads herself well and challenges herself and teammates by pursuing academic excellence and chasing as much speed as possible.

She has helped lead the Club 4 to a 7th Place (out of 50) at Head of the Charles Regatta, is a two-time New York State Champion in the Varsity 8, and aided in the Varsity 8's highest placement at 2025 Patriot League Championships in recent history. Since her first race she has earned a spot in the top boat and has had numerous notable races to show for it.

For internal Colgate Women's Rowing awards, she was selected as the team's Academic Excellence recipient and as one of the Raider Award recipients.
