No. 22 Women's Golf Finishes Fourth at Hartford Invitational
HEBRON, Conn.—First-year Vanya Bansal (Noida, India) tied for third with a round of 4-over 76 as Babson College placed fourth at the Hartford Invitational on Saturday at the Gilead Highlands Course at Blackledge Country Club on Saturday afternoon.

The Beavers posted a score of 29-over 317 to finish behind No. 12 Wellesley (304), No. 13 Middlebury (309) and Wesleyan (311). Trinity came in fifth at 37-over 325, while the host Hawks shot 357.
Bansal put together a steady round with 14 pars and four bogeys to finish just a shot behind Sarah Yeh and Grace Sun of Wellesley. Junior
Victoria Salim (Semarang, Indonesia) made her lone birdie of the day at the par 5 seventh hole and fired a 7-over 79 to finish in a tie for 13th position.

Hannah McCarthy (Toronto, Ontario) and first-year
Katie Yang (Orlando, Fla.) tied for 17th place after each carding a 9-over 81 on Saturday. Lu made the turn at even par before struggling on the back nine, McCarthy played her first five holes at 1-under thanks to a birdie on the par 5 third and Yang rebounded from a slow start by playing her final 10 holes in just 3-over.
Babson returns to action next Saturday and Sunday when it travels to The Orchards Golf Club to compete in the Jack Leaman Invitational.
