Mott, Bezanson, Kirtland Post Top-Five Finishes to Lead Men’s Track & Field at Williams’ Farley Inter Regional

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.— Babson College graduate student Skyler Mott (Mills Neck, N.Y.), sophomore Aithan Bezanson (Danvers, Mass.) and first-year Brady Kirtland (San Diego, Calif.) posted top-five finishes to highlight the Beaver men's performances on Saturday at the Farley Inter Regional track & field meet at Williams College.

Aithan Bezanson (Danvers, Mass.) and first-year

Brady Kirtland (San Diego, Calif.) posted top-five finishes to highlight the Beaver men's performances on Saturday at the Farley Inter Regional track & field meet at Williams College.

Mott led the Beavers by finishing in a tie for first place in the high jump with junior Anthony Meng of MIT and senior Daniel Hyde of Springfield as all three jumpers cleared six-feet, 1.25-inches.

Kirtland ran a time of 15.67 in the 110-meter hurdles to qualify eighth for the finals, then went on to finish fifth with a time of 15.59. First-year

Boston Thomas (Kailua, Hawaii) was 10th in the event in a time of 15.97 seconds.

Bezanson brought home third place in the decathlon with a season-best total of 5776 points. He was first in the discus with a mark of 112-feet, 2-inches, second in both the 110-meter hurdles with a season-best time of 15.90 seconds and the 1500 meters in 4:44.63, and third in the pole vault clearing 9-feet, 10-inches.

Junior

Stratton Seymour (Merrimac, Mass.) also competed in the decathlon for the Beavers, finishing in seventh place with 4605 points. He registered a pair of first-place finishes with a personal-best mark of 133-feet, 6-inches in the javelin and a time of 4:44.44 in the 1500 meters.

First-year

Cameron Mehallo (Lafayette Hill, Pa.) and sophomore

Jackson Adams (Norwell, Mass.) placed seventh and eighth in the 400-meter hurdles in times of 55.53 and 55.59, respectively, and Kirtland finished 15th in 57.09.

Sophomores

Dominic Smith (Aspen, Colo.) and

Noa Wong (Kaneohe, Hawaii) placed 12th and 14th, respectively, in the 400 meters in times of 50.09 and 50.26 seconds.

Graduate student

Diego Sanabria (San Juan, Puerto Rico) rounded out the list of Babson competitors with a 15th place in the javelin with a mark of 140-feet, 1-inch.

Babson returns to action with a last chance meet at MIT on Thursday before the NCAA Championships selections are made late next week.
