2025 NEW ENGLAND DIVISION III CHAMPIONSHIPS HIGHLIGHTS

• Three Babson women earned All-Region honors to highlight the Babson men and women's performances at the New England Division III Championships on May 2-3, 2025, at the Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn.

• The Beavers claimed a pair of top-six finishes in the women's high jump as sophomore

Amrit Rehal placed fourth by clearing 5-feet, 3.25-inches, while senior

Brooke Jankowski took sixth with a mark of 5-feet, 1.25-inches. The other all-region honor came in the 400-meter hurdles as junior

Colleen Corman finished fifth in a time of 1:07.21.

• The top individual finish for the Beaver men came in the men's 10,000-meter run where Matthew Campbell M'25 came in seventh with a career-best time of 32:44.85. Sophomore

Victoria Hart missed qualifying for the finals in the women's 100-meter hurdles by a tenth of a second with her time of 15.21, which was good for ninth place.

ABOUT THE BABSON MEN

• The Beavers finished in fourth place at last weekend's New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) championships with 87 points, the second-most in program history.

Skyler Mott and first-year

**Cameron Mehallo **captured individual championships to lead the way. Mott won the high jump by clearing 6-feet, 7-inches and finished in fourth place in the triple jump with a mark of 45-feet, 10.5-inches. Mehallo won the title in the 400-meter hurdles with a program record time of 53.85 seconds and sophomore

**Jackson Adams **was fourth in 54.52.

Brady Kirtland placed fourth in the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 14.98 seconds after setting a program record of 14.86 in the preliminaries, and junior

Chris McDonough finished in fifth place in the 100-meter dash in 10.91 seconds.

Nick Yacoub earned a podium finish in the men's 10,000 meters with a third place in a time of 31:16.26 and finished fifth in the 5000 meters in 15:04.80.

**Diego Sanabria **finished in fourth place in the javelin throw with a mark of 171-feet, 8-inches. McDonough was fourth in the long jump with a leap of 21-feet, 10.75-inches, and sophomore

**Aithan Bezanson **was right behind in fifth with a season-best mark of 21-feet, 4.75-inches.

ABOUT THE BABSON WOMEN

• The Beavers scored a program-best 72.5 points and came in fifth for the third time since 2021, just 3.5 points behind fourth-place WPI at the NEWMAC Championships last weekend.

Elaina Head produced podium finishes in three individual events to lead the Beavers. She took first place and broke the program record in the long jump with a leap of 17-feet, 9.75-inches, then earned All-NEWMAC honors with a runner-up finish in the triple jump; she broke her own program record by more than four inches with a mark of 37-feet, 7.75-inches after placing third in the high jump by clearing 5-feet, 3.25-inches earlier in the day.

• Babson earned another all-conference award in the 4x100-meter relay where junior

• The Green and White enjoyed a strong day in the hurdles as Hart came in fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:06.31 and Corman placed sixth just 0.42 seconds behind her. Jankowski finished fourth with a time of 15.19 in the 100-meter hurdles, which was 0.23 seconds ahead of Hart, who placed fifth.

• Rehal placed fifth in the high jump with a mark of 5-feet, 3.25-inches, senior

** **Trista Sicard finished sixth in the triple jump with a leap of 36-feet, 5.75-inches, and Kinerman came in sixth with a time of 25.92 in the 200 meters.

AMONG THE NATION'S BEST

• Entering this weekend's regionals, Mott ranks eighth in Division III in the high jump with his record-breaking leap of 6-feet, 9.75-inches, while Mehallo is 38th in the 400-meter hurdles with his time of 43.85, and Yacoub is 42nd in the 10,000 meters (30:39.52).

• On the women's side, Rehal is ranked 15th in the high jump with her leap of 5-feet, 5.25-inches and Head is 42nd in the triple jump (37-feet, 7.75-inches).

NEW ENGLAND RANKINGS

• Kirtland ranks seventh in New England in the 110-meter high hurdles (14.86) and Yacoub is seventh in the 10,000 meters (30:39.52). Mehallo is ninth in the 400-meter hurdles (53.85). Mott is first in the high jump (6'9.75") and 10th in the triple jump (46'2.75").

• On the women's side, Rehal ranks fifth in the high jump (5'5.25") and Hart is 10th in the 100-meter hurdles (14.82).
