Hart Finishes Sixth in 100M Hurdles to Lead Women’s Track & Field at MIT Final Qualifier

**CAMBRIDGE, Mass.— **Babson College graduate student

Diego Sanabria (San Juan, Puerto Rico) broke his own program record in the men's javelin to highlight the Beaver performances on Thursday at the MIT Final Qualifier track & field meet at Morrison Track inside Steinbrenner Stadium.

Sanabria unleashed a throw of 184-feet, 7-inches on his third attempt to set the new program standard and place fourth in the events. He surpassed the mark of 183-feet even that he established at the Tufts Spring Stampeded back on April 10.

Sophomore

Nick Yacoub (Sharon, Mass.) had a strong performance in the 5,000 meters, placing fourth in a career-best time of 14:46.15, which is the eighth fastest time in program history and the fastest by anyone other than program-record holder Anthony Rodriguez '24 M'25.

First-year

Cameron Mehallo (Lafayette Hill, Pa.) and sophomore

**Jackson Adams **(Norwell, Mass.) both registered top-eight finishes in the 400-meter hurdles; Mehallo came in fifth place in a time of 54.16 seconds and Adams finished eighth in a time of 54.85.

On the women's side, sophomore

Victoria Hart (Greenwich, Conn.) had the top finish for the Beavers with a sixth-place in the 100-meter hurdles. She qualified eighth in the prelims with a time of 15.99 and came back with a sixth-place in a time of 15.93.

Junior

Colleen Corman (Quaker Hill, Conn.) and Hart both ran the 400-meter hurdles. Corman finished eighth with a career-best time of 1:06.13 and Hart was right behind in ninth in 1:07.53.

Junior

Reese Gallant (West Newbury, Mass.) represented the Beavers in the women's 100-meter dash. She was sixth in the prelims in 12.66 seconds and wound up eighth in the finals in a time of 12.77.

Graduate student

Skyler Mott (Mills Neck, N.Y.) and sophomore

Amrit Rehal (Alpharetta, Ga.) are both expected to earn a spot for Babson at the NCAA Division III Championships in the men's and women's high jump when the official selections are announced at 8 p.m. on Friday night.
