Babson College's athletic programs have recently celebrated significant academic achievements, with multiple teams earning recognition for their student-athletes' performance in the classroom. The men's lacrosse team led the way, placing 17 players on the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Academic All-Conference team. This recognition underscores the program's commitment to academic excellence alongside athletic competition. Senior Lilly Bedard from the women's lacrosse team also earned a spot on the NEWMAC Academic All-Conference squad, highlighting her dedication both on the field and in her studies.
In track and field, the academic accolades continued, with ten members of the men's team and nine from the women's team named to the NEWMAC Academic All-Conference team. This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of these student-athletes as they balance rigorous academic schedules with their athletic commitments.
On the softball front, three Babson players—Megan DeLong, Sophia Pak, and Kayla Sealey—received College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors. This accolade recognizes their achievements in both academics and athletics, further emphasizing the culture of excellence at Babson College. As the academic year wraps up, these honors serve as a testament to the dedication of Babson's student-athletes in maintaining high standards in their studies while competing at a high level.
