In a standout performance at the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, MIT's Fiora Beratahani claimed the national title on the 3-meter board, becoming only the second diver in program history to achieve this feat. Her victory was a highlight for the Engineers, who secured a sixth-place finish overall, marking their 13th consecutive top-10 finish at the national level. The team saw multiple athletes earn All-America honors, including Yee, Bernard, Feliz, and Smith, who collectively contributed to the team's strong showing. Notably, Annika Naveen, a senior with a 4.0 GPA in Biological Engineering, was awarded the NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete Award, underscoring the academic and athletic excellence within the program.
The MIT men's swimming and diving team concluded their NCAA Championships with a 14th-place finish, amassing 91 points. Grant Hu, a consistent performer, led the team with notable finishes, including a sixth-place in the 400 IM. On the Charles River, the MIT women's openweight crew team opened their spring season with a commanding sweep against the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. The Engineers dominated all three races, highlighted by a 19-second victory in the varsity eight race, setting a strong tone for the upcoming season.
