The Tufts University women's swimming and diving team concluded a remarkable NCAA Division III Championship meet with a 12th-place finish, marking the best in program history. Seniors Madeleine Dunn and Madison Hagberg were instrumental in this achievement. Dunn showcased her prowess by securing third place in the 1650 freestyle and fifth in the 500 freestyle, earning All-American honors. Her performance in the 500 freestyle was the highest NCAA finish ever for Tufts in the event. Hagberg set a new school record in the 200 backstroke, finishing fourth and earning her third career All-American honor. First-year Abby Davis also made waves, breaking the school record in the 100 backstroke and becoming the first Tufts All-American in the event since 1984. The team also saw success in relay events, with the 400 medley relay setting a new school record.
The men's swimming and diving team wrapped up their NCAA Championship with a 25th-place finish. Junior diver Jay Wilkinson earned two honorable mention All-American awards, placing 12th in the one-meter and 13th in the three-meter diving events. The men's 200 freestyle relay team, consisting of Isaac Shang, Will Kaminski, Max Gerke, and Armaan Sikka, broke the school record and finished seventh, marking Tufts' best result in the event since 2019. Despite some setbacks in relay events, the team celebrated multiple All-American honors throughout the competition.
Tufts men's basketball team saw their historic season come to an end in the NCAA Division III Elite Eight, falling to top-ranked Trinity College in a narrow 69-66 loss. The Jumbos displayed resilience and competitive spirit, with Joshua Bernstein and Jon Medley leading the charge. Despite the loss, the team's performance throughout the season has set a high standard for future campaigns.
