In wrestling, the University of Chicago men's team delivered a strong performance at the 2026 National Championships, finishing 11th overall. Notably, Gunnar Garriques and Maksim Mukhamedaliyev each earned All-America honors with fourth-place finishes. Mukhamedaliyev, a freshman, showcased resilience by defeating higher-ranked opponents, including a thrilling overtime victory against Loras's #9 wrestler.
