Andrew Reall's remarkable season for Brown wrestling culminates at the NCAA Men's Wrestling Championship in Cleveland, where he ties the program's single-season wins record with 37 victories. Reall, competing in the 197-pound category, notched two wins on the second day of the championships, equaling the mark set by Steve Thoma in the 1991-92 season. Despite falling just short of All-American status, Reall's performance underscores a season of significant achievement. His teammate, Austin McBurney, also made an impression, securing two wins on the first day, while Alex Semenenko concluded his collegiate career as a national qualifier.
In women's swimming and diving, Natalie Garre and Morgan Lukinac represented Brown at the NCAA Championships in Atlanta. Garre competed in the 1650 and 500 freestyle events, finishing 35th and 50th, respectively. Lukinac, who earned her spot by winning the Ivy League title in the 200-meter freestyle, placed 40th in the 200 free and 41st in the 100 free. Both athletes showcased their talents on the national stage, concluding a competitive season.
The Brown men's track and field team opened their outdoor season at the Bob Davidson Challenge in High Point, North Carolina. Freshman Duncan Frisbie-Smith and junior Matthew Doherty competed in the 800 meters, finishing 10th and 16th, respectively. In the 1500 meters, freshman Benjy Street led the Bears with a 13th place finish. The team looks forward to continuing their season at the upcoming Raleigh Relays hosted by North Carolina State University.
Brown's fencing program was highlighted in the inaugural episode of the Brown Bears Sports Report, which featured interviews with head coaches and NCAA Championship qualifiers from both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams, as well as women's fencing.
