Army West Point women's swimming and diving marks a historic milestone as seniors Molly Webber and Catriona Gilmore, along with sophomore Angie McKane, qualify for the NCAA Division I Swimming & Diving Championships. This marks the first time since Army joined the Patriot League in 1990 that its women's swimmers have reached this level. The trio earned their spots following standout performances at the Patriot League Championships, including a record-setting 200 medley relay.
Army wrestling also prepares for a significant presence at the NCAA Championships in Cleveland, with four Black Knights set to compete. Ethan Berginc, a senior, enters his fourth NCAA tournament, joining the ranks of only a few Army wrestlers to achieve this feat. Junior Gunner Filipowicz makes his third appearance, while junior Braden Basile and sophomore Brady Colbert each return for their second.
In men's hockey, sophomore goaltender JJ Cataldo receives the 2025-26 Atlantic Hockey Association Goaltender of the Year award. Cataldo, who also earned First Team All-AHA honors, posted a 2.48 goals against average and a .921 save percentage over the season, ranking among the nation's leaders in saves and save percentage.
The Army men's golf team concluded their participation in the 46th Annual Schenkel Invitational in Statesboro, Georgia, finishing 15th overall. Junior Drew Jeffords led the team with a 56th place individual finish, highlighted by a two-under-par round. Sophomore Tyson Sparks and senior Rob Ferris also delivered notable performances during the tournament.
In addition to these athletic achievements, Army West Point Athletics announced a multi-year partnership with Firehawk Aerospace, aimed at enhancing the experience for cadets, alumni, and fans across various sports through increased visibility and support.
