The Middlebury men's ice hockey team concluded its regular season with a dramatic 2-1 overtime victory against second-ranked Hamilton on February 21. The upset win marks a significant achievement for the Panthers as they head into postseason play.
Meanwhile, the Middlebury men's swimming and diving team competed in the NESCAC Championships hosted by Colby, finishing eighth overall with 702 points. The four-day event saw the Panthers setting two program records on the second day. The team began the championship with the 800-yard freestyle relay, tying for eighth place. Despite strong individual performances, Middlebury was unable to break into the top tier dominated by Williams, Tufts, and Amherst. Williams claimed its seventh consecutive team title with 1,599 points, while Tufts and Amherst secured the second and third spots, respectively.
