Princeton University's women's squash team continues its dominance, capturing the inaugural Ivy League Tournament title after a decisive victory over the University of Pennsylvania. This triumph follows their regular-season Ivy League title clinched with a win over Harvard. The Tigers, ranked No. 1 nationally, showcased their prowess in the semifinals with an 8-1 victory against Cornell, featuring five sweeps. The team's success was further highlighted by Alex Jaffe receiving the Ivy League Rookie of the Year award, and the coaching staff being named Coaching Staff of the Year. Four players earned All-Ivy honors, underscoring the depth of talent on the squad.
In women's swimming and diving, Princeton secured its fourth consecutive Ivy League Championship at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center. The Tigers dominated the competition, setting multiple records and achieving NCAA automatic qualifying times. Over the course of the championship, they maintained a firm grip on first place, winning numerous events and rewriting the record books with pool and meet records. This consistent excellence underscores the program's strength and depth as they prepare for NCAA competition.
The men's squash team faced a challenging match in the Ivy League Tournament semifinals, falling to Harvard 8-1. Despite the setback, the team had notable individual achievements, with Hollis Robertson and Federico Sosa earning first-team All-Ivy honors, while Avi Agarwal and Aly Ibrahim were named to the second team. These accolades reflect the individual talent present within the squad, even as they look to regroup for future competitions.
