Bowdoin College's softball team celebrated a historic achievement this week as senior Anika Ewert was named a Third Team All-American by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Ewert, who led all of Division III with a remarkable .625 batting average and a .682 on-base percentage, becomes the first player in program history to earn All-American honors three times. Over her illustrious career, she set multiple records, including career hits (223), stolen bases (135), runs (172), batting average (.555), and on-base percentage (.602). Ewert's contributions were pivotal in leading Bowdoin to a 27-11 record this season, marking the team's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2010.
In men's tennis, sophomore Kiran Garapati has been recognized as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Division III Player to Watch. This accolade highlights Garapati's potential and performance, underscoring his impact on the program as he continues to develop his skills on the court.
