Army West Point's track and field team completed the NCAA East First Round in Lexington, Kentucky, where several athletes competed for a chance to advance to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Notably, athlete Davis secured his spot at the national event, showcasing his strength and determination throughout the competition.
In lacrosse, former head coach Jack Emmer received the 2026 Spirit of Tewaaraton Award during a ceremony in Washington, D.C. Emmer's contributions to the Army lacrosse program have been significant, and this honor recognizes his impact on the sport and the athletes he has mentored over the years.
On the academic front, Andon Thomas was named the Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the Army West Point Athletics Association's Academic Support Team. This accolade highlights Thomas's commitment to excellence both in the classroom and on the field, reflecting the values of the institution.
In women's basketball, Army West Point finished second overall in the 2025-26 Patriot League President's Cup, accumulating 151 points. The women's team excelled, securing the top position in the split standings with 84 points for the second consecutive season, demonstrating the program's consistent performance and competitiveness within the league.
