Abigail Roberts of Emory University has been named the final University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for the 2025-26 season following her impressive performance at the NCAA Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The sophomore finished as the national runner-up in the hammer throw, achieving a new school record with a throw of 57.76 meters, surpassing her previous best of 55.36 meters. This marks the first All-America recognition of her career, highlighting her significant contributions to the Emory track and field program.
In men's tennis, Ruilin Feng and Ajay Kartik concluded their NCAA doubles tournament run in the national semifinals. The duo, who entered the tournament as the No. 2 overall seed, faced off against Denison University's fourth-seeded pair of Ethan Green and Kael Shah. Unfortunately for the Eagles, Feng and Kartik were defeated in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, ending their season with a commendable 14-5 record together. Their journey to the semifinals included a straight-set victory over Trinity University’s Kishan Kersten and Jared Perry, which had set the stage for their final match in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
