The University of Rochester women's track and field team concluded a successful run at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin, with junior Nora Chen and first-year Lauren Murphy each earning First-Team All-America honors. Their achievements capped off a strong championship performance, where graduate Molly FitzGibbons also secured All-America recognition in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. On the men's side, sophomore Emmett Hansen finished 15th in the decathlon, following a solid opening day where he ranked 18th after the first five events. The championships showcased the depth of talent within the program, as the women's team had a strong start with two runners advancing to finals and securing an All-America award on the first day of competition.
In addition to the NCAA Championships, the Rochester rowing team celebrated the recognition of seniors Jinx Allison and Ava Prevey-Sullivan, who were named to the All-Liberty League squad for their performances during the 2025-26 season. Their contributions have been vital to the team's overall success and reflect the program's competitive spirit.
Moreover, both the men's and women's track and field teams received significant accolades from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), with the women netting 26 All-Region honors and the men securing 16. Notable recipients included Barack Abdallah, Emmett Hansen, Aadit Jain, and Elijah VanHoover, who collectively earned recognition for their performances throughout the outdoor season.
