The Emory University women's golf team celebrated a historic achievement this week, successfully defending its national title at the 2026 NCAA Championships held in Palm Desert, California. After maintaining a strong position throughout the tournament, the Eagles finished with a total score of 870 (+6), securing their second consecutive championship. This victory underscores the program's growing dominance in collegiate golf.
In tennis, the men's team saw sophomore duo Ruilin Feng and Ajay Kartik advance to the NCAA quarterfinals in the Individual Championships held in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Their performance marked a significant milestone for the Emory men's tennis program, showcasing their competitive edge on a national stage. Meanwhile, the women's doubles team of senior Izzy Antanavicius and junior Yanire Marte had a commendable run, reaching the quarterfinals before their tournament concluded. They had previously advanced through the early rounds, demonstrating their skill and teamwork.
On the track, the Emory University track and field teams wrapped up their seasons at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Notably, senior Emily Roberts finished as the national runner-up in the hammer throw, adding to her impressive collegiate career. The men's team also made a mark, with standout performances including a runner-up finish in the long jump by junior Max Brandstadter. The Eagles competed fiercely across multiple events, highlighting the depth of talent within the program.
