Army West Point men's lacrosse has concluded a successful season with significant individual accolades. Five players from the Black Knights were named to the 2026 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-American teams, highlighting the program's depth and talent. Among them, senior Sean Byrne received the prestigious Ensign C. Markland Kelly Jr. Co-Outstanding Goalie of the Year award, while fellow senior Evan Plunkett was honored as the Lt. J.G. Donald MacLaughlin Jr. Co-Outstanding Midfielder of the Year. These recognitions underscore their contributions to a strong season for Army lacrosse.
On the women's side, Brigid Duffy and Allison Reilly made history by being named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division I All-American First Team. This marks the first time in program history that Army has had two players earn first-team All-American honors in the same season. Duffy, who also excels in soccer, and Reilly's selections reflect their outstanding performances throughout the season. Both players were recognized at the 2026 Awards Convocation and Superintendent's Awards for Excellence and Achievement and Distinguished Cadet Awards Ceremony, where Duffy also received the Army Athletic Association Trophy alongside Plunkett, further showcasing their dual-sport talents and leadership within the athletic community.
As the season wraps up, Army lacrosse looks forward to building on this historic momentum in the coming years, with a strong foundation laid by this year's standout athletes.
